I’m currently reading Partials, so this post makes me a lot more anxious to keep reading. I’m also really excited to read Not a Drop to Drink, but I have to wait until it comes out, sigh.

    My favorite book endings include:
Clockwork Princess (ending to a series),
Shadowlands, Shatter Me, The Evolution of Mara Dyer, The Program, and Mind Games.
    My favorite book beginnings are
Matched, Divergent, and Siege and Storm.

I’m jealous that you’ve read Not A Drop To Drink already! It looks really good. Mockingjay is on my list too – the last line is chilling. Happy reading!

Daughter of Smoke and Bone was just perfect. For so many reasons. And I have a copy of Partials! Can’t wait to read it. To hear that the ending is good – just making me anticipate it even more! Great list!

I haven’t read any of these! I’m a bad book blogger.

I actually find it much more easy to focus on the beginnings then the endigs. And clearly, I need to read The Book Thief.

I’m so glad to hear Just One Day knocked your socks off. I have that one checked out from the library and can’t wait to read it. I’m really looking forward to reading Charm&Strange, too. I agree that both Mockingjay and Before I Fall had very fitting ends. Great list!

Ahh I want to read many of the books you said have rockin’ endings! Not a Drop to Drink, Charm & Strange, The Immortal Rules/Eternity Cure! CANNOT WAIT! But YESS Just One Day *sigh* I need Just One Year like yesterday. And also agree with Mockingjay and The Book Thief. So sad but fitting. Awesome list!

    Thanks for stopping by!

Wooo! I did Eternity Cure too! I am SO ready for Book 3! The only other book I’ve read from you list is Mockingjay and while I’m glad it ended like it did, I hated that book. 🙁 I can’t wait to get my hands on Partials and get to Not a Drop to Drink!

I’ve only read The Hunger Games series on my list, and that ending is a great one, although it took me a while to get round to liking it.

Here’s my list. I’ve gone mostly for opening lines.

I’ve only read 2 books on your list but I completely agree with you on Mockingjay. I’m not one of those people who has to have happy endings (my friends like to joke that i’m one of those people who like books where the author’s hate their characters). I loved that the ending wasn’t too happy (because that wouldn’t be realistic) yet at the same time the ending wasn’t too sad either. It was a perfect bittersweet combination between the two.

P.S. I so jealous that you’ve read Charm & Strange. My library doesn’t have it 🙁

I love the ending to the Book Thief. Daughter of Smoke and Bone is popping up on a lot of top tens this week. I’m going to have to read it.
