I recently discovered something very dangerous called Book Outlet.  They’ve got tons and tons of bargain books/publisher overstock.  These are all brand new, although most of them have a black marker mark on the outside edge of the pages to distinguish them as overstock.  Of course, I’d prefer my books to be in pristine condition, but considering I paid an average of $4.75 per book (including shipping) for these, I’m perfectly fine with a mark that’s not visible when it’s on a shelf.  And psst…they’ve got a 20% off sale on their children’s/YA titles.  I won’t be able to resist buying more, even though what I REALLY need is a new bookcase.  So here’s what I got:

Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory Prized by Caragh O’Brien Birthmarked by Caragh O’Brien Ask the Passengers by A.S. King Everybody Sees the Ants by A.S. King Please Ignore Vera Dietz by A.S. King Variant by Robison Wells Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion Arclight by Josin McQuein Hunger by Michael Grant Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson Birth of a Killer by Darren Shan Eona by Alison GoodmanCa The World of Downton Abbey by Jessica Fellowes and Julian Fellowes

Ah The Book Outlet is dangerous! Luckily international shipping prices make it less bargainous for me so I can resist (I CAN!). I love A.S. King – Ask the Passengers is an amazing contemporary and I bought Vera Dietz this week too 🙂

Prisoner of Night and Fog is one I’m super exited about.

    Enjoy all your lovelies!

Great purchases. I loved Speak, and I own Ask the Passengers but I haven’t read it yet. Prisoner of Night and Fog sounds amazing, and Tell the Wolves I’m Home is one of my favorites. Enjoy them all!

    Great haul!
And ugh! Thanks so freaking much for the tip on Book Outlet. I’d never heard of it before so I just went to check it out. Of course the deals are unbelievable and I ended up with 27 new books. I just couldn’t stop once I started. I had to cut back at least 20 books because shipping was a lot.
Anyway, thanks for the tip on the site. 🙂
