Stacking the Shelves # 42

December 6, 2013 Stacking the Shelves 19

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Visit Tynga’s Reviews to learn more about this weekly meme.

STS 42

The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice
The Ultimate Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe

The first two books are part of B&N’s “Collectible Editions,” and I purchased them online during a Black Friday sale.  The Raven is one of the six gorgeous Penguin Horror books.  All three of these books have these pretty, colored page edges.  I especially love The Raven’s black pages.

Yes, anytime Harper puts some new books out on EW, it’s a given well see a lot of them!

I wish there was a way to display those books with the pages sticking out. 🙂

Congrats on your first EW approval! Try not to get too addicted. 🙂

The Darkest Minds was only $1 for Kindle – love when those little deals pop up.

You should check out all of the Penguin Horror titles. I would love to buy all them, but they need to go on sale first.

These were my first B&N Collectibles purchase. They do look very nice, and they were reasonably priced, thanks to Black Friday.

I could kick myself not getting the bundle of George R.R. Martin for that price.

    Nice haul.

I think I’m the only person that didn’t get accepted for The Falconer *sobs* my request is still pending so no clue what that means. I can’t wait to hear what you think of it. I actually resisted the urge to download the Harper titles but I’m not sure that I won’t next week. So TEMPTING! I really want to read the Murder Complex. I am probably starting Red Rising today. Very excited! Great haul and happy reading Stephanie <3
