Stacking the Shelves # 44

December 20, 2013 Stacking the Shelves 19

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Visit Tynga’s Reviews to learn more about this weekly meme.

The Signal and the Noise by Nate Silver
A Dog’s Purpose by W.  Bruce Cameron

Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott

The Liberator by Victoria Scott: Reason # 4,648 why I love my library: They didn’t have The Liberator in stock, even though they had copies of The Collector.  I filled out an online request a couple of months ago for them to order this book.  I’d never done this before, and I had no idea if it would actually work.  But then I got an e-mail stating that they had approved my request, and they ordered five copies!  Fabulous… I’ll be doing this more often. 🙂

Let me know what hit your shelves this week!

EEP you got Fire & Flood! I’m getting it very soon too! Sent it to a US address so hopefully I’ll get it in a week or so.
And I really liked The Liberator, though it’s not as good as the first one.
Hope you enjoy your books this week 🙂

I ask my library to buy books sometimes (particularly when they have the first in a series and not the rest!) It’s an awesome feeling when they do. 🙂 I reeeally want to read Miss Peregrine’s! I hope you like your books! Happy holidays! My StS!
