Top Ten Tuesday # 39: Worlds I’d Never Want to Inhabit
Worlds I’d Never Want to Inhabit
(Plus One That I’m Hoping For)
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins: As much as I hate to admit it, I’m no Katniss.
Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion: There’s a lot to hate about a zombie apocalypse, aside from the prospect of being eaten – the constant moaning and the shuffling of feet, for starters.
The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa: I’m already pale, and I wear a lot of black, so I have the building blocks to make a good vampire. But immortality doesn’t really appeal to me.
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner
: Being stranded on a planet with only one other person sounds pretty terrible, and we can’t all have a Tarver.
A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
: All of the scheming and backstabbing would get old very quickly, and I’d probably find myself wishing for a dragon attack.
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey: Yep, I’m craving a good ol’ alien invasion. Of course, I’d prefer that the aliens be of the snuggly E.T. variety, but I’d take the evil kind if it means that we would make contact with intelligent alien life in my lifetime.
