TOP TEN (er…TWELVE) MOST ANTICIPATED DEBUTS
Before I get to my list, I want to thank everyone who stopped by to read this, because I have not written a blog post since August. That is FIVE MONTHS. I didn’t plan it that way. I wish I could blame my absence on something like an abduction by aliens, but truthfully, I just felt like I needed a little break. Then that break got longer and longer and longer. And then, I just didn’t know how to start again. I also dropped off of Twitter for long stretches, and for the most part, I stopped visiting any other blogs. Seeing everyone else blogging away just made me feel guilty and inadequate, and it was easier to just hide away. I’m sorry to all of you I neglected, and I hate that I missed all of your fantastic (because I KNOW they were fantastic) blog posts. I recently promised myself to start blogging again in 2015, and here we are. It feels right to start with a post about debuts, because I kind of feel like I’m making my debut, too.
I’m looking forward to catching up with you all again, and I’m not currently planning on any more long absences. Well, not until my next alien abduction.

MY TOP TEN TUESDAY
Stephanie
I wish I had a better idea of debut books coming out later in the year. I believe these are all between Jan and May.

We have a tiny bit of overlap, but in truth I am excited for a ton of the debuts this year. I’m still excited for most of the ones you’ve listed that didn’t make my list! I’ve seen such exciting things coming out of publishing and it makes me really excited.
Breaks are necessary sometimes! I took a big one this summer because my family moved across NC and we just HAD TO. No worries! (:

I’m excited about those two, too. Contemporaries aren’t always my favorites, but these sound so good.
