stacking the shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Visit Tynga’s Reviews to learn more about this weekly meme.

I can’t believe it’s been almost 3 months since I last did an STS post.  I haven’t included all of the books I’ve acquired during that time below, but I’ve included a lot.  Of the ones I’ve managed to read so far, I highly, enthusiastically, and emphatically recommend Seveneves by Neal Stephenson.  It is an epic, 860 page sci-fi work of wonder.  It starts in the present day with the destruction of the moon, then the world-ending apocalypse that follows, and then it flashes 5,000 years into the future.  If you like sci-fi at all, this is a must.

You have so many books I want to read (Ink and Bone, Seveneves, The Royal We, etc.) and a few I did read. Uprooted was fantastic. I do not read a lot of fantasy and that one just hit all the marks for me. Happy reading!

I’ve read or want to read a number of these. Gone with the Wind is something I’ve probably read 20 times. I have a first edition I bought at a used bookstore for 10 cents! when I was twelve.

You got so many amazing books! I want to read so many of these! I’ve been looking at The Fill-In Boyfriend for AGES and I think The Accident Season sounds so cool! I read another book by Daniella Vega and now I want to try her newest one and I really want to read The Wrath and The Dawn but I have to wait to get it! Awesome haul!

Nice! The Royal We was cute and Scarlett Undercover was fun! Looks like The Daughter of Deep Silence is on quite a few lists. I may have to check that out. Hope you enjoy them all 🙂 Here’s ours: Bibliojunkies ~ Bel

Even for three months, this is an awesome haul!!! I see so many books in there I want to get, or plan to read eventually. I plan to start Legacy of Kings sometime next week! I hope you enjoy everything. By the way, those corn puffs look like they would be amazing. I am addicted to sriracha.
